Affordable Floors opened in October 2011. Owner Scot Byles had worked in the flooring industry for 13 years prior to opening Affordable Floors. Scot had installed all types of flooring for ten years with the same flooring company then moved up within the company as a project manager. He soon realized that he would like to start and open his own flooring business to give consumers honesty and value. Scot found a building in downtown Newton NC, and with a lot of hard work and determination opened Affordable Floors. He and his wife April work as a team assisting customers in choosing the perfect floor for their budget and lifestyle.
